Women's Day this year marked with a colloquium hosted by Providence School of Business, Chengannur, with an eminent speaker panel comprising of Ms. Shalini Warrier, Executive Director & Retail Business Head of Federal Bank, Ms. Sobha Viswanath, Social Entrepreneur & Founder of Weavers Village & Bhoomika NGO, and Ms. May Joy, founder of ZIVA Maternity Wear.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Santosh Simon, Principal, and the session was moderated by Dr. Smarty Mukundan, Director, Providence School of Business.
The event was well received with the participation of our management trainees and trainee engineers under the coordination by Ms. Reshmi Alex (Assistant Professor, PSB) & Ms. Shirley Sam (Assistant Professor, Department of Science & Humanities).
Conducted online, the event was attended by visitors from around Kerala and outside India.
The audience were able to capture some key insights from the speakers including "Be a continuous learner", "Be agile and adaptable", "Integrate work and life", "Believe in yourself", "Be a dreamer and dream big", "Be financially independent", and "Create your own identity".
