The Providence basketball and volleyball teams kicked off this year's sports tournament campaigns in style with some major inroads into the zonal competitions.

The boys' basketball team made it to the finals of the zone C competition on 2nd October 2019 and faced off against Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, walking away with the runner-up trophy.

Meanwhile, the girls' basketball team battled their way to place 4th in the zone C competition.

On 6th October, the boys' volleyball team valiantly fought their way to reach the quarter-finals.

The teams were trained under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Sabu Samuel, the head of physical education at Providence College of Engineering.
