An anti-narcotics awareness campaign, Vimukthi, jointly organized by Chengannur Block Panchayath and the Providence Anti-Narcotics Club was inaugurated by His Grace Dr. Geevarghese Mor Coorilos Metropolitan on 7 February 2018.

His Grace the Metropolitan highlighted the seriousness of drug abuse and the need for creating awareness, especially among the youth and students.

Mr. G Vivek, Vice President, Chengannur Block Panchayath presided. Members of Chengannur Block Panchayath and Ala Grama Panchayath were present on the occasion.
