Providence College of Engineering conducted the PROTEK exhibition as part of an initiative to create awareness among school going students about engineering and technology.

Conducted on 2nd December 2022, the event was inaugurated by Mr. Mathew T Thomas (MLA) and attended by students from 20 schools in the region.

Providence College of Engineering has announced that it aims to launch two new undergraduate courses in its department of computer science & engineering.

In addition to the existing BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, the college will add courses in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security (with IoT & Blockchain Technology).

The move comes in light of the growing demand for computer science professionals in the digital economy, especially those skilled in the areas of artificial intelligence and cyber security.

AI is playing a bigger role than ever in the way data is consumed, information is produced and analyzed.

Data security has grown to paramount importance globally as the reliance on digital devices has grown.
